Some faults keep until a convenient appointment and some do not. A dishwasher sitting with standing water in the sump, a washer that has locked its door mid-cycle with a full drum inside, a built-in oven that quit the evening before you were cooking for people, a hood that has stopped clearing a gas cooktop – those belong in the second group. Ring early and we look at the current day’s route first. If the day is genuinely full, you get the earliest window we actually believe in rather than one that sounds better on the phone.
The vans carry the components that fail most often across Asko laundry and dishwashers: door locks and interlocks, drain pumps, inlet valves, heating elements, hinges and door cables, common seals. Less usual items – a drying cabinet fan assembly, a hood control board, an element for a discontinued oven – have to come in, and on an older machine that order is worth a conversation before you commit to it. You are told the expected timing before the technician leaves, and the return visit is booked on the spot rather than left to a phone call later.
One thing worth saying up front, because it saves people a call-out. An Asko cycle that runs long is not automatically a fault. These machines are engineered around low water and energy use, and the European cycle times that come with that regularly surprise owners used to American machines.
