All of it is freestanding. The wider Professional range also includes marine variants intended for installation on board, which is a different mounting, ventilation and access problem from a laundry room on solid ground.

Usually not. When a row of machines reports the same fill, drain or heat problem, the shared services are the first thing to examine - water pressure and temperature, the common drain, the exhaust runs behind the drying units, and the electrical supply. A fault in any one of those presents as several failing appliances. We look at the installation before quoting work on individual units, because replacing six pumps does not fix one blocked drain line.

Mechanically there is a good deal of common ground, and the fault families are recognisable. What differs is the duty. These units run far more cycles per week than a household appliance ever will, so pumps, door locks, valves, bearings, belts and heating components reach the end of their service life much sooner, and the controls and program sets are built around throughput and repeatability rather than around a household routine.

Tell us when the room is quiet and we will schedule around it where the route allows. For an unattended room, arrange access with us at the time of booking - a technician standing outside a locked door helps nobody. A marine installation usually needs a further step for getting aboard, and it is worth settling that when the appointment is made rather than on the day.
