What OPTION NOT AVAILABLE Means
WHICH MACHINES THIS APPLIES TO: the TD75 machines, sold as the T408HD and the T608HX. Asko lists this among the information messages in the section headed "INFORMATION before, during, and after the program (depending on the model)". It is not in a fault table and it is not a fault.
WHAT ASKO PRINTS AS THE ACTION: "This option is not available. Select an option that is still available." The machine has been asked for a setting it cannot apply, and it has said so rather than ignoring the button.
WHAT IS ACTUALLY HAPPENING: a drying programme runs through phases, and some options only make sense before a particular phase begins. Once the machine has passed that point, applying the option would either do nothing or change the outcome in a way the programme was not built for. Rather than accept the press and quietly not act on it, the control tells you the option has gone out of reach for this cycle.
THE OTHER REASON IT APPEARS: some options are simply not offered on the programme selected, because the combination does not apply. The wording covers both situations, which is why it names the phase rather than the button.
WHY THIS IS WORTH A PAGE AT ALL: it reads like an error, it appears in the same window that shows errors, and people stop their machine to look it up. The honest answer is that nothing is wrong, and knowing that saves a cycle being cancelled for no reason.

- Option selected after the phase of the cycle in which it can be applied
- Option not offered on the programme currently selected
- Combination of options not supported together on this model

Nothing needs repairing, so the work is understanding the machine. If you wanted that option for this load, cancel the programme, select it again from the start and set the option before pressing start - options that are refused mid-cycle are generally available at the beginning. If you wanted it on a different programme, check your own model's programme table, since the options offered vary by programme and some combinations are simply not provided. If the option is one you always want, setting it before start every time avoids the message entirely. If the machine refuses an option at the very start of a programme that your manual says supports it, that is a different matter and worth reporting, but there is nothing to open, clean or adjust for this message. Let the current cycle run to the end rather than cancelling it out of concern; the load is drying normally and the message has no bearing on the result.
