Combination machines earn their place by doing two jobs in one drum, and that is also what makes them different to work on. There is no separate cabinet, no separate motor and no separate air path – the heating, the airflow and the condensing arrangement are packed into the same shell as the fill, the wash and the spin. A fault in the drying side therefore sits physically among the wash components, and getting to it means going past them.
The absence of a code set shapes the whole visit. With indicator lamps as the only signal, the technician works by sequence: what the machine does, in what order, and where it stops. That means asking you what you saw before the appointment is genuinely useful – which stage it reached, how long it ran, whether it emptied, whether anything got warm.
This model has been discontinued for a long time, and we say so plainly rather than implying it is current. In practice most of the failures we meet on it are ordinary pump, seal, hose and heating work, and the deciding factor is parts availability. The circuit is isolated and the supply taps closed before anything is opened, and you get the parts answer and the price before any work begins.
